Republishing Links
So when I changed domain, unfortunately a number of things hosted here that were linked to from other places broke. I have gone back and changed the URLs in the blog posts, but I am not sure if Google will update that, so I will list them again here, with their new URLs.
- Boxroom: Screencast on how to download and use Boxroom intranet file repository (Ruby on Rails)
- Wenlin: Screencast of amazing Chinese dictionary/reader software (proprietary), for Windows and Mac. Quicktime (better quality), or AVI.
- Indonesian dictionary: A pop-up mouse-over dictionary of Indonesian - copy and paste any text, and you can move your mouse over words to get instant translations. Far from perfect, but very useful.
- Barefoot Doctors in China: A paper about the history of para-professional doctors in China.
- Brain Drain: A paper on the brain drain of professionals from developing countries to developed countries. Note that I have also changed the license of both of these papers from CC BY-NC-SA to CC BY.

You might also want to see if you can do a 301 redirect — fairly easy if you have access to the server and it’s a flavor of Apache. If you google “301 redirect” you’ll find lots of information. That’s how to tell the search engines you’ve moved a piece of content. It will also help to submit a sitemap at the new site (go to Google Webmaster Tools).

I appreciate your comment, but the reason I had to move them is because my webhosting company screwed up, and my previous domain houshuang.org is now swatted by spammers…
I guess I could write to them and ask them nicely to put up a 301 redirect, but somehow I doubt it
