I’m currently co-facilitating a course “Introduction to Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning” together with Stian Haklev at Peer2Peer University (P2PU). It’s totally free and open, and is designed for anyone with an interest in collaborative learning technologies (CSCL theory and practice). It’s also great for anyone who wants to try out taking a open course – we’d love to get feedback on design and assessment strategies!
You can engage with the course as a ‘participant‘, which means you’d be part of the core community dedicated to completing ‘badge components’ like reflective blog entries, the creation of wiki pages, etc. Or, if you can’t commit at that level, you can be a part of the peripheral network as a course “follower“. Followers will receive the biweekly newsletter that synthesizes and summarizes the community’s work as well as syndications of participant blog entries and contributions as they are generated throughout the course.
Check out the #csclintro posts I’ll be creating for a look at the kinds of things we’ll be discussing in the course.
