I certainly did email the author. Common courtesy. And also Wiley will be informed through an automatic trackback. It is certainly aimed at improving it, but in a certain sense it&#039;s &quot;too late&quot; for the PhD, in that it&#039;s already handed in... but of course, I hope he will continue this very important work in the future, and expand it.

		<description>oh I see it now. this is not harsh criticism at all by the way. rather friendly and aimed at improving a lot of the thesis. do you think the author will ever see this? would you ever email him to tell him this outside the blog space?</description>
