Thank you for this clear and passionate lecture full of ideas and recent examples about the field! It motivates me to look into what kind of problems or challenges local educators and students face when they try to adapt foreign long distance teaching or research materials into their classes. It's not just a question of how to translate the materials into another language but also specific class focuses, students' levels and local cultural and social contexts. Then the point about facilitation of online learning also becomes very interesting.

It will be interesting that educators and students can leave reflection notes on teaching/ learning process with specific open course materials for future users of the same materials.

Dear Stian,

I am listening to your talk right now, and I am really impressed. I predict you will evolve into one of the great educational thinkers (on this planet!) over the next 5-10 years. Trust me! :)

It is a passion and gift :)

Great stuff :)

What are the ingredients of a great University? Do you have 10 pointer (or perhaps a 3 pointer) :)

Have a great day learning :)

Congratulations :)

Warm Regards,

Zaid
