Amitabh Bachchan weighs in on Barack’s speech: Badmash!
There is of course no doubt that what America needs most of all is neither Clinton, nor Obama, but Amitabh Singh Bachchan (somehow I managed to get his name wrong the first time around) for president. I don’t think I will ever really understand the racial relationship in the US between blacks and whites, but Guru Singh provides a useful reminder that the picture is a lot more complicated. Which might be a good thing. I believe that Johan Galtung, the Norwegian peace researcher, in one of his books said that in order to solve a conflict between two parties that have opposing interests, complicate the picture, add more parties - and you will have much more options for solutions. (I cannot find the quote though).
