... nevermind. Just as I posted that, I clicked on the previous responder's link and found it. In case you were wondering, it was "Girls Fall Down" by Maggie Helwig. :)

I came across your blog when I was trying to find the name of a novel that is set in Toronto... I was hoping you might be able to help me since you seem to have an interest in this! :)
It's fairly new, I read it a review of it in a magazine and (stupidly) didn't think to copy down the title & author at the time but I believe it's a fiction novel set in Toronto and something "weird" has happened there... like a plaque, or disease of some sort... does that possibly ring a bell to you (or anyone else reading this blog)? Thanks in advance!

I came across your blog through a Google news alert on Kensington Market, but thought I'd alert you to a research project I'm working on called Imagining Toronto -- focusing on intersections of literature and place in the Toronto region. The project has a website at http://www.imaginingtoronto.com and there is a very long (but of course incomplete) list of Toronto-focused works under the Library section. I'm also completing a book on the subject which is scheduled to be published later in 2008.
