I'm looking forwards to read the chapter about Sachs vs Russia... My Economy of China prof got very emotionnal last lecture when he was talking about the paradigms of many Western economists (such as the Chicago School) are inappropriate for studying centrally-planned economies. He was mentionning how Sach's advice was followed by Russia (basically, a quick liberalization of everything and dismantling of state-owned enterprises) and it resulted in negative growth rates for years... Even superstars make mistakes I guess. hey stian;
